I was curious about this... On the Font tab in Safari's Web Inspector, that's what it reported, but in actual practice it seemed to be using the second, serif font, Averia. Do you know why it would work that way? Maybe the Western glyphs are missing from the Noto Sans JP, so it uses Noto for Japanese glyphs and falls back selectively for passages in Latin alphabets?
