There are some great non-alcoholic beers available now. I discovered a few flying friends around and not being able to drink but wanting to take them to a pub. Athletic is one, started by a hedge fund trader and is the fastest growing.
- famahar 3y agoI do like the ritual around drinking. Celebrating an event, marking the end of a tiring day, transitioning into "relax" mode. I find that non alcoholic drinks still give me that feeling that I'm entering a new part of my day with intention.
- voisin 3y agoI am not a Budweiser fan, but I tried Budweiser Zero and it is pretty refreshing. A lot of the other nonalcoholic beers I’ve tried have mimicked highly hoppy beers so YMMV.
- kijin 3y agoNonalcoholic beers need to simulate the slight bitterness of alcohol in some way, and adding hops is a low hanging fruit.
