Not familiar with this author but I enjoy the format and font he chose for the site; it's calming.
After reading the "about" section, I think this and the other articles are more the author talking to himself, so I won't offer any critique just as I wouldn't with someone's diary. Good for him in recognizing he wanted to remember such things and starting to write them down.

- alwa 3y agoI was curious about this... On the Font tab in Safari's Web Inspector, that's what it reported, but in actual practice it seemed to be using the second, serif font, Averia. Do you know why it would work that way? Maybe the Western glyphs are missing from the Noto Sans JP, so it uses Noto for Japanese glyphs and falls back selectively for passages in Latin alphabets?
- alwa 3y agoI had exactly the same reaction, so much so that I took a moment to view source and track down the font. On my machine, this entry used Avería, which turns out [0] to be cool in its own regard: it's a font of "generative typography," created by averaging all the fonts on its author's machine at the time-- [0] http://iotic.com/averia/ http://iotic.com/averia/
