At this point, "Republicans against Trump" is approximately as meaningful as "CCP against Xi". Support for the man and the party are inseparable.
"Conservatives against Trump" would make much more sense, although it would be a bit less surprising or splashy.
- orionblastar 3y agoNot all Republicans re Conservatives, some are Moderates, Centrist, or Libertarians. They are not a majority but enough to cost Trump the 2024 election.
- bediger4000 3y agoI'm not sure that "conservatives against Trump" has any more meaning that "Republicans against Trump", for the same "CCP against Xi" reason.
