Probably being too nice to them. IME, a lot of (solar) heat and neglectful watering makes 'em mean.
- CobaltFire 3y agoGrowing up we grew 5 jalapeno plants and treated them all different to see what the outcome was. The one we hardly watered had the best tasting, hottest peppers. The second best plant (the one we abused almost as much) made twice as many though.
