Interesting concepts, so in the -unknow-, in the -improbable- are hidden the knowledges of tomorrow?.. maybe. And sometimes seems to me that are the book that chose the reader, and remain closed till the right moment..
“It is our knowledge — the things we are sure of — that makes the world go wrong and keeps us from seeing and learning,”
Or maybe is the fact of considering those knowledge points of arrival, and not a point to start from, tools, keys to open doors, and not walls, the shoulders of the giants sitting uppon someone can see further.
Maybe the fact to consider some knowledges as absolute, is rooted in the way we evolved, where without fast building some kind of -quite absolute- facts Homo-Sapiens will be extinct, even if this is a brake to usefull changes and innovations, an instinct deep rooted in our way in the world.
And the term 'knowledge' cover many concepts, where other languages (= others knowledges themselves) have distinct terms. those for things we read-learn-remember (what is a fire, combustion, etc..), those we experience (walk in a wildfire, ask a firefighter..), and so on..
But maybe in the end the most importat books could be those still to be written...
