As a programmer, I switched from Windows 7 to Mac (Lion) since everyone at my new medical-related job uses Macs. I must say that I much prefer the W7 anti-aliasing, because I care little about how close my characters are to their true glyph shapes and care much about how crisp a page of code looks like on my monitor. I've gotten used to the blur now, but whenever I go back and look at my old W7 machine the crisp nature of the text really jumps out at me.
