When you beat your contractors to a pulp, like Boeing has, everything runs late and extremely half-assed. When you outsource, you must increase your inhouse testing and QA, which Boeing has not done. They are just slapping things together. Doesn't work in aviation. Pretty sure that Boeing alone will be responsible for flying no longer being the safest way to travel.
