Colleges and universities should have to have public audits of their admissions and other processes in order to get tax breaks and federal funding.
There's so little insight and oversight for orgs that vacuum up public money.
- rqtwteye 3y agoAdd churches and a lot of other non-profits to that list. I think all these institutions deserve a close look as to how the money is spent and whether they deserve tax breaks. When I lived in Northern VA I met quite a few non-profit higher ups that made huge salaries and did absolutely nothing for the public good.
