I had comments in PRs where I should replace `str1 + str1` with `''.join([str1, str2])` (Python) because it's more "clean". So I judge my code and others code whether it works or not. Works in the sense that it's correct but also in the sense that I can maintain it in the long run. That's it. It's kind of hard to get used to this and keep opinions to yourself though.
