I had a company reach out after a year offering a refund for toner cartridges I left a bad review for.
I took the refund of course (since they were bad) and then they offered me another $30 to adjust the negative review which I left up, which when I ignored they upped it to $40 to remove it altogether.
I didn’t take them up on it, but I imagine they’re very successful offering such high a payment.

I’m curious what percentage of the population will turn down free money to stay true to their values. The item I bought was $140. I’m not going to sell out over $140, even if they offered a full refund. I was planning to buy some other stuff that matched, but they lost all figure sales from me.
