Twitter is viewable without having an account. I assume by use, you mean post? How would that work?

  I went to https://twitter.com/ https://twitter.com/ and only got the login page. You can see individual posts without an account, but most other read-only functionality is hidden behind the login wall.

        Let's do the same to twitter links and get rid of them too, please. Without nitter links, twitter links are completely useless to those of us who would rather not have a Xitty account.

  "Twitter is viewable without having an account" No it isn't. If you don't have an account you can view an individual tweet, but you can't see threads and you can't see replies. I'm still annoyed about https://twitter.com/simonw/status/1077737871602110466 https://twitter.com/simonw/status/1077737871602110466 - I spent over a year building a thread of behind-the-scenes Spider-Verse content and it's now effectively invisible to anyone who isn't signed in to Twitter. You can't even see someone's most recent tweets without signing in! Visit https://twitter.com/simonw https://twitter.com/simonw while signed out and you'll see a random selection of my popular tweets from the past few years - but you won't see my most recent content any more.

  When you view a Twitter post without being logged in it will only show you the post itself, not the rest of thread. You only get to see that when logged in. And of course the Twitter.com start page itself gives you no way to even find any posts to begin with.

      He bought a PC with a windows license. He can choose to install a new OS if he wishes. I also do think the account creation step is bullshit.
