- paulpauper 3y agoLTCM was flawed because it was effectively short-volatility with huge leverage and downside risk, the opposite of what this guy is doing. Those type of funds tend to eventually fail. This guy already took $10 million off the table and only bets with 1-3% of his account.
- user90131313 3y agoTrading while edge is there then turning that profit into portfolio of investment is the real way. Having a real edge is incredibly rare and hard but always exist but not for long term ofc.
