This is what my understanding of EV battery recycling is at. It all gets shredded and then the separate the enclosure from the actual battery. Then they get a mixture of the annode and cathode + any electrolyte solution. My understanding is that the anode and cathode are separated into separate containers....and who knows what the electrolyte solution is doing....its probably stuck in both piles or burnt off
