I’ve been struggling with a clients SaaS third-party integrations so much lately everything I read describing counterproductive outcome gets compared in my imagination. Marketing says they support your integration, but in practice there are gaps—somebody made a business decision about what was “good enough” and the company’s investment in development stoped there. Anything that is not served by this limit becomes a “product improvement” request. Maybe this is a related principle I’m discovering now—-same fracked up family of underperformance and unexpected outcomes.
