Recent graduates would have at least played around with AI enough to notice how it can be incorrect or at least heard about this from peers. An older lawyer less familiar with technology is much less likely to have this experience. Furthermore, the lawyer blamed two recent graduates. I find it unlikely that two people together would make this mistake. This seems like classic boomer behavior.
