I was under the impression that we would need extremely large particle colliders to test theories of quantum gravity? This article makes it seem as though there has been some great leap in technology to make this type of measurement possible?
- tonetegeatinst 3y agoNot a scientist but I know they made a laser accelerator that was similar to a Wakefield accelerator. This drastically reduces the physical footprint. A university has plenty of space as they are about the size of the ASML machine roughly
