I would recommend that you master English. You have a solid foundation but you what you have written demonstrates that you have not learned to use proper grammar or punctuation. I live in the US and work in the software industry. I have worked with at least 100 young Indians like you, and I haven't encountered a single one who has mastered reading and writing in English. Read classic and modern English-language novels and non-fiction that interests you. When you write in English, pay close attention to spelling and punctuation. Write the way they do in the books you read. It is not the same as the way people speak in videos or in daily life. Do that, and you will always have a one-up on your peers. Your self-esteem will increase, and you will have your choice of whatever field you choose to pursue.
After that, focus on Python :)
- yodaforever 3y agothanks you're right about it. I regularly create big chunks of paragraph just because i am not able to articulate myself simply because too much is going on in my mind and i wish to share everything. regarding python , I actually think python is a one fits all and that definitely leads to issues since it doesnt master too much and i think there are better dsl focused language like golang/ts for webdev , julia for data visualization and arturo/rebol-based-language for basic scripting though i may be wrong
- tw_indian_eng 3y agoYou are not wrong. Remember you will have a forty-year long career and technologies will come and go. Get a good foundation and you'll be able to do anything you want. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_C_Programming_Language https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_C_Programming_Language is still a good book and it's 40 years old. If you really like Linux, work through https://www.linuxfromscratch.org/lfs/ https://www.linuxfromscratch.org/lfs/ at least once. That's another thing that almost no one ever does.
