I’ve only seen quality improve as a result of talented developers who care making a difference, and almost never seen top-down efforts (other than blessing the bottoms-up efforts) work.
- richardw 3y agoI have. CEO of a 10k person company who is not at all technical told the team to redo the onboarding process because it was a shitshow with 20 steps. Every layer underneath that just went along. They fixed it, got the religion and it’s now an excellent process.
