Things don’t quite add up with this article, why did AMD kill a project that benefits it in the AI space? Was it underwhelming? Was it violating any license terms of Nvidia?

It’s possible that AMD wanted to avoid any possible lawsuits and so pulled out once the contract ended, meaning it couldn’t be directly tied to the project.
