    Tbh, new teams eat only half the memory old one did. Still sucks, but it's 700MB RAM vs 1.4GB just to open a chat.

  In what way? I've used a number of interoffice communication apps, and was on IRC in the hey days of dialup. Slack (for work purposes) just nails the experience for a broad set of users.
