(googler, opinions are my own.) I agree that this seems poorly worded. It does seem the GPay app in the US has been deprecated. Meaning all functionality is either going away or migrating elsewhere. This would impact iOS and Android. Wallet is still around for tap and pay, and mobile wallet stuff. P2P transfers are going away entirely in the US. Offers/deals are moving to search.
