Redundancy isn’t a bad thing, it’s what lets you go on vacation sometimes. It’s hard to know how much you should have, and it’s no surprise it’s one of the first things to go when companies downsize. Sure, some bullshit is going to slip in, but it’s still a bunch of human beings trying to make a living on this dumb rock. Software itself is all bullshit in the grand scheme of things.
