Did anyone have a phone fail during this outage?
My Pixel 4XL was working at 2am as I placed it on the charger (even though it had about 80%). Noticed zero bars. Shrugged and went to sleep.
Woke up at 9am and the phone is totally non operational.
Yes I know sometimes phones just break, but less rarely while not moving, not wet, not dropped, or due to a charging issue.
What a coincidence.
- stevewodil 3y agoAndroid has historically done poorly in areas with no signal with regards to battery life. Did it come back after charging it?
- talldatethrow 3y agoNo it won't register any signs of life. I replaced it with a Moto G Stylus 2023 model on sale at Walmart for $60 because I needed a phone asap. Att pay as you go phone but I was able to just put my original att sim into it. It's basically almost as good as the pixel 4xl although picture quality isn't as good.
