I recently started getting GitHub notifications from a 2015 issue on some random PHP Bitcoin PoS repo, and it says "because you were mentioned" but I can't see myself being mentioned. I wonder if some since-deleted spam comment mentioned me and that's why I've been auto-subscribed to the thing. Frankly it would suck if spammers hijacked this mechanism of GitHub to notify you of comments on threads mentioning you...
