Upgrade AWS EKS or pay 500% more
- uf00lme 3y ago600% more, 0.60$ for extended support vs 0.10$ Still that might be cheaper if a product is going eol then fixing issues blocking an eks upgrade path. Inversely it’s hard to see any justification for the price increase, I can’t see support for these versions costing 600% more but I guess this is why AWS make so much money…

- jauntywundrkind 3y agoWhich seems to be the overwhelming trend in software. You get it for free but have to pay someone to be lazy about it. Red Hat. Linkerd & Amazon EKS submissions here today. I'm sure many many more.
