Until it was finally diagnosed in my 30s, my entire life had been a complete disaster. After starting treatment, I was finally able to start a career in programming, something that had been impossible for me despite trying repeatedly in the 15 years prior in any field at all (including programming). ADHD is the worst thing that's ever happened to me.
