I stopped when I read this: Functional programming is enjoying a great upswing in interest and popularity these days. I wonder whether the stronger type systems of these languages... Functional programming == stronger type system? I thought I can use JS in a functional way without a lot of safety nets. Clojure isn't Scala. Is he right? What am I missing?
