I am proposing a workaround for restoring PWA support in third-party web browsers on iOS - to append some well-known query param or hash to the PWA URL by convention (like ?__pwa__ or #__pwa__ or similar) and detect PWA using it, then hide the UI: https://twitter.com/niu_tech/status/1758877533481717951 https://twitter.com/niu_tech/status/1758877533481717951 or https://fosstodon.org/@niutech/111947656399263607 https://fosstodon.org/@niutech/111947656399263607. But a better response is to show Apple the finger by boycotting its products. For instance, I've replaced iOS for Sailfish OS and Ubuntu Touch, which respect my privacy and are much more open.
