The current blue rate is 1100 but it was 13 when we visited Argentine 10 years ago. Back then, 100 peso bank note was actually quite convenient.
Peso lost value hundredfold in a decade. Go figure.
The whole country has left a disorganized feel back then, so when we hopped the border over to Chile we felt we're having a vacation in a vacation.
