"Fill out a questionnaire that’s more detailed than most dating profiles."
Sorry, what? Why? How does my information matter in this? Aren't you supposed to be delivering me information?
[Edit]
Oh my god, you also work for the companies. Seems like a Carta situation.
- pcthrowaway 3y agoI'm 99% sure the comment you're replying to was satire.
- EchoChamberMan 3y agoMaybe? If so, they definitely missed me with the humor. https://checkr.com/ https://checkr.com/ [Edit] You're probably right - I thought it was a poor attempt to engage. It's not far enough from the truth to be a parody for me.
- khaki54 3y agoI thought by putting the YC class in Winter 2025 it would be obvious. Funny there is actually a checkr site that has a similar theme. Really I was too on the nose with this one
- EchoChamberMan 3y agoI saw it but glanced over as I'm not big into the accelerator part of things, and I was so intrigued by the rest of the writing. Then I googled, and there's a real company from YC doing exactly what you describe, and then my mind exploded! Fortunately, just a little bit, and I have since recovered with some help from the responses here. S14 - https://www.ycombinator.com/companies/checkr https://www.ycombinator.com/companies/checkr
- khaki54 3y agoHahaha it's too funny it's actually a YC company, sometimes stereotypes are justified
- EchoChamberMan 3y agoYou absolutely nailed it xD
