- I_Am_Nous 3y agoI just saw a headline saying "Japan bets $67B to become a global chip powerhouse once again" and thought about how ridiculous that is on multiple accounts. It's so big I have no concept of that much money, and yet it's also a small enough sum that it can be "spared" to be bet in the first place. Money is such a paradoxical concept - if you have it, $1000 is nothing...but if you need it $1000 may as well be $67B.
