Reminds me of this old Xkcd: https://xkcd.com/1200/ https://xkcd.com/1200/ when they said that these Snap packages were "safe" they probably meant from a "linux is secure" and "properly sandboxed" meaning, not "we've verified that this person isn't trying to scam you".
