I think a lot about Simon Wilson saying (somewhere...) about how one of the major things AI unlocks is the ability "to be more ambitious with side projects". I can echo this 100%. Being able to go from 0 to _something_ pretty easily even on a wild hair for an idea is so empowering, and often the hurdle that feels most difficult to jump. Even if you don't continue, learning about some domain with a mostly-working example is incredibly powerful.
