Presenting TOC (Theory of Constraints) [video]
- henry_pulver 3y agoI read 'The Goal', which is Goldratt's allegorical book that presents this theory. It's a little hamfisted in it's allegorizing and felt it sometimes spent a long time making simple points. Even still, it's much more memorable than this speech, so would recommend it if you have the time and inclination!
- AstroJetson 3y agoA fan of Theory of Constraints. There are a number of books that are worth reading. I've used the basic tenants a few times in software development and once as a PM that was doing computer infrastructure setup in a building being built. It's worth reading "The Goal" first. If you like it take a look at the others in the series. Goldratt died a number of years ago, not sure who is pushing his works now.
