Don't overstate it -- unless you're remarkably inept with your financial affairs, you're looking at about 35% tops for taxes in NY.
- michaelochurch 14y agoI'm including employer-side taxes and sales taxes. Many of these taxes are regressive and decrease as a percentage as your income goes up. For example, I believe that Social Security tax is only assessed up to about $110k.
