And it was USA's interest to sell its liquefied gas to Europe, to at least get something out of their support. I mean if you're going to support Ukraine with your billions while your allies are dancing around the issue because they're hooked up on your ennemy's gas... I doubt the US can tolerate that. Now that's just my pet theory, I'd love to hear counter-arguments.
