- simonblack 3y agoIn today's world, all carriers no matter whether US, Chinese or British are as obsolete as all battleships were in 1941. And like the battleships of 1941, today's carriers have a very short life left to live. Call it coincidence but the British battleship 'Prince of Wales' and the British carrier 'Prince of Wales' are destined to be twin harbingers of obsolescence.
