I feel the same way, although I've been cheered to learn of friends at OpenAI (and similar big tech companies) who are having kids. If they're having kids, maybe I'm wrong to be so anxious about the future. I'll be glad to be wrong about the grey world they are creating. Then again, their kids are going to be just fine.
