The happiest I’ve been in a long time. I’m working on a great product on a great team at my dream company. I picked up iOS development in 2010 and have never looked back, I feel fortunate that I tied my horse to such a stable and lucrative wagon. I’m living in Manhattan, playing piano every day, and attending weddings as I watch my lifelong friends get married. My stress is nonexistent and my health is better than ever; it’s amazing what 8h and healthy food will do. I’ll propose to my girlfriend in the next year or so and I’ll move back home to Ontario. We’ll buy a little house in the country with a sunny office for me and we’ll fill our home with children and chickens and goats. There are times I feel I took the easy route, opting for IC at big tech over leadership in the startup world, but laying it all out like this makes the choice seem easy. These days I feel very blessed.
