Strong take given the opening scene of the Iliad is Achilles raging about Agamemnon stealing his girl
- int_19h 3y agoA heterosexual relationship with another person does not preclude the one GP is talking about from being homosexual. Greeks themselves didn't really think about it in these terms, anyway. It was completely normal, and in some social contexts even expected, for a man to have sex with another man, and then go on to marry and have children.
- rKarpinski 3y agoI didn't preclude anything. This is a strong take... > the Iliad in general is a gay, homo, LGBT, western, decadent love story It ignores major plot points. Like the whole reason Achilles refuses to fight or the cause of the entire war
