Portable FLOSS Successor to FrontPage / Dreamweaver?
FrontPage / Dreamweaver provided a bunch of features and utilities that made it very easy to quickly code a static or dynamic website.
Although many use plain text editors now, some of you out there might still be fond of a WYSIWYG GUI experience.
I'm familiar with Komposer and BlueGriffon, but I tried using them (I only used the Windows portable versions) and both either froze on me (at some point) or had errors pop-up.
What are some portable (Windows) FLOSS successors to FrontPage / Dreamweaver that you use?
- cranberryturkey 3y agois dreamweaver gone?
- profsummergig 3y agoI actually thought it was. Apparently not. It's still part of Adobe's Creative Cloud. Have not used it in 10 or so years, so don't know if it's similar to what it used to be.
- infotainment 3y agoI believe what used to be Mozilla Composer is still included with SeaMonkey: https://www.seamonkey-project.org/ https://www.seamonkey-project.org/
