No, not at all, I'm in the UK. I was always advised never to put my age or birth date. Companies also don't want it as it can open them up to age discrimination claims.
Like you, I also removed the dates from my degree and other qualifications.
- eastbound 3y agoSame here in France, but I don’t know whether all companies are afraid of it or whether it’s just because I have an international culture. I’m also very annoyed with the resume that gender students send, pink to see whether we discriminate, but nothing is relevant on those resumes. Of course we reject.
