- pwg 3y ago> Not sure what the trick is The 'trick' is, more often than not, simply a slightly higher syrup to water ratio. Or, alternately, the proper ratio while everyone else is running a slightly lower than proper ratio to further increase the already huge profit margin on soda fountain drinks.
