- sidibe 3y agoIt turns out the easy SV/VC money made some profoundly stupid but confident people very rich. Elon, David Sacks, and certain YC people are really exposing how narrow they are on social media.
- nojvek 3y agoPower in concentrated hands is seldom a good thing. Putin has concentrated power. Elon also is getting a more concentrated power with X and SpaceX. Elon can force enough of an algorithmic change to amplify conservative extreme views to elect Donald Trump. Putin knows Elon and Trump are good for him. He just needs to prolong the war enough that he can annexe Ukraine while US looks the other way. To play the devil’s advocate, Europe needs to build a stronger defense. They’re sitting ducks relying too much on US.
