The point was that your very comment was a dupe - the very "problem" you take issue with. And that's definitely not your first time (with both submissions and comments). Nobody's perfect, right? Not you, or the people you constantly correct - there is no "until ppl stop" because shit happens, and mistakes can be made in spite of best intentions. The heat death of the universe will occur before duplicate posts on the internet cease to be a thing. I don't have an issue with people pointing out dupes, but when a single person does so so militantly while making the same mistake themselves somewhat often, it's like... let the mods mod.
