Show HN: A Flask-Based Internet Radio Player Built in Hylang
I ported this small project to Hylang a few weeks ago. It calls out to mpd and mpc, but the most exciting part is that it is written in Hylang, a Lisp that compiles down to Python.
It pairs well with [1]. Be sure to use the direct links.

- Qem 3y agoNice. What is your setup while using Hylang, like editor, et cetera?
- djaouen 3y agoWell, I was using the Hylang downloaded from homebrew, so it comes pre-packaged with python3.12. It was a little annoying having to figure out the exact path of that executable to install Hyrule and the Flask packages, but it was smooth sailing once I figured that out. Edit: `/opt/homebrew/Cellar/hy/0.28.0/libexec/bin/python3 -m pip install hyrule`, in case anyone else needs it. ;) For my editor, I use Emacs with the usual Spacemacs packages. I think Spacemacs either comes with a Hylang mode, or I downloaded it from Melpa. I can't remember off the top of my head. But I could look that up if needed. Edit: Looks like I added hy-mode to my dotspacemacs-additional-packages.
