Was that ever their goal? They're more than happy to sell games from other developers on the Unreal store. I'm sure being a sort of one-stop shop for games on Mac/iOS is their ultimate goal. Nobody has given any reason why this is a bad thing for Epic or why Epic would even make a store that only their stuff is sold on. That makes zero sense considering their PC strategy. They'll still get a cut selling third-party apps that aren't made by them.
