Why Costco is so loved
- delichon 3y agoI like to buy beef in bulk and keep hearing about people who do that at Costco. So I surfed their online offerings just yesterday ... and found out that their beef prices are super-premium even in bulk, compared to my local supermarkets. Like $15.71 for what looks like the same "angus premimum ground beef" that Safeway sells for around $7. Wtf. Maybe they only put their really expensive stuff online, and there are actual bargains at the store?
- tssva 3y agoIf you want to see an approximation of in warehouse pricing you need to select same day delivery which is local delivery via instacart. For me the current price for ground beef via that manner is $4.90 per lb. The prices in warehouse are usually still a little lower.
