Gaza and the End of the Rules-Based Order

- manuelabeledo 3y ago> It would be nice if the international community could get Hamas not to do that. The solution to potential genocide is actual genocide?
- loeg 3y agoThe quoted dead comment, either in the portion you quoted or the rest of it, does not call for genocide. It just remarks that Hamas perpetuated horrific attacks on Oct 7 (which is true) and opines that it would be great if someone could convince Hamas not to do that (which, opinion, but it seems hard to disagree with). (I don't think the flag is legitimate and I've vouched it.)

- 082349872349872 3y agoAs far as I'm concerned, JFK laid out a program in 1961, five years after the Suez Crisis, for an even more rules-based order than we actually ever had since: https://www.jfklibrary.org/archives/other-resources/john-f-kennedy-speeches/inaugural-address-19610120 https://www.jfklibrary.org/archives/other-resources/john-f-k... , but that project failed, no doubt in significant part due to his untimely cancellation.
